Legal information

Privacy policy

This page explains, in plain language, how we use data when you contact us, prepare an enquiry and use getcamera.pl.

01

Data controller

The data controller is Adam Gawenda, who operates GetCamera and the getcamera.pl website. The contact address is Czarnohucka 10, 42-600 Tarnowskie Góry (Carbon Studio).

For privacy matters, email biuro@getcamera.pl or call +48 505 279 719 or +48 512 917 945.

02

What data we process and why

We process the data you voluntarily provide in correspondence — usually your name, email address, phone number, production dates and the information needed to prepare an equipment hire or crew proposal.

We use this data to respond to your enquiry, check availability, prepare an offer, enter into and perform a contract, settle the service and establish, exercise or defend potential legal claims.

03

Legal basis

We process data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform the contract, to comply with legal obligations such as accounting requirements, and on the basis of GetCamera’s legitimate interests in managing correspondence, protecting legal claims and securing the website.

04

How an equipment enquiry works

When you select “Send enquiry”, the configurator data is transmitted over an encrypted connection to the GetCamera server. The server creates an email and sends it to biuro@getcamera.pl. The email address entered in the form is set as the reply-to address. We do not save enquiries in a separate website database.

05

Recipients and retention periods

Data may be accessed only by providers needed to operate the website and the business, in particular hosting, email and IT service providers, accountants or advisers, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their tasks. We use Resend, a service provided by Plus Five Five, Inc., to send form emails.

As part of email delivery, data may be processed in the United States. Resend states that it uses GDPR-compliant mechanisms, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. Details are set out in Resend’s Data Processing Agreement.

We retain sales correspondence for the time needed to handle the enquiry and subsequently demonstrate what was agreed. Data connected with contracts and accounting is retained for the period required by law and until the relevant limitation periods for claims have expired.

06

Google Analytics and cookies

The website uses Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure visits, page popularity and basic events associated with use of the website. The service may process information including device and browser details, visited URLs, visit duration, approximate location and the IP address processed by Google.

Analytics consent is disabled by default. Once you consent, Google Analytics may store cookies including _ga and _ga_*, which distinguish visits. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or ad personalisation.

Your choice is stored locally in your browser. You can change your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. For more information, see Google’s privacy policy.

Regardless of analytics, the hosting server may store standard technical logs, such as the IP address, browser type, request time and visited URL, to keep the website secure and operating correctly.

07

Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing or data portability. You may also object when processing is based on a legitimate interest. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office.

We do not make decisions about users based solely on automated processing and we do not carry out profiling.
