Your monitoring setup should match the signal chain and the crew

The camera operator needs a lightweight on-camera monitor, while the director or client often needs a separate image elsewhere on set. Multi-camera production also requires switching and monitoring several sources.

Before the booking, we establish the camera output, required cables, power setup and expected transmission range.

Three ways to choose

01

Monitors and recorders

Atomos Ninja V, Feelworld F5 Pro and Blackmagic Video Assist 12G 5″.

02

Wireless transmission

Accsoon CineEye 2 Pro for wireless video transmission on set.

03

Switching and conversion

ATEM Mini Pro with HDMI cables and a Blackmagic SDI to HDMI converter.

What to establish

  • HDMI or SDI output on the camera
  • where the operator, director and client will be working
  • required range and video transmission method
  • cables, power and planned recording

Before choosing monitoring

01Can I transmit video wirelessly?

Yes. The Accsoon CineEye 2 Pro system is available.

02Do the recorders include power and recording media?

The Atomos Ninja V comes with spare batteries and an SSD, while the Blackmagic Video Assist comes with spare batteries and a memory card.

03How do I check whether a monitor will work with my camera?

Before the booking, we confirm the signal standard, cables, power and device compatibility.

Describe the production. We will select and configure the equipment.

Tell us the dates, type of production and your preferred workflow. We will check availability and compatibility. Equipment is hired from our Tarnowskie Góry base, and we support productions across Silesia.
